Lake Quinson
Located in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, at the entrance to the Lower Verdon Gorges, Lake Quinson is undoubtedly the least touristy lake in the Verdon. Far from the hustle and bustle of Lake Sainte-Croix in the height of summer, this is where we come to recharge. We love it for its wild, untamed character—more pronounced than that of Lake Esparron—and its tranquility. To enjoy the scenery of the Lower Gorges, you’ll find a recreation center right on the water’s edge offering rentals of pedal boats, canoes, and electric boats.
